After going through a divorce, she became a single mom and she did not want to raise a child in a daycare. The career which she wanted was one which will give her the freedom to work from home so that she can take care of her daughter while working. The best solution was foreclosure investing and her first deal made her $22,000 and she never stopped after that.

Her main goal was to pay her bills on time and to stay with her daughter, Ayla. These goals changed after closing more deals. She learned that real estate investing was lucrative and she can help other people while doing this business. She learned so much and as she grew her wealth, she began to think of ways to teach other people. She was after improving the lives of other people. Her objective was to help people to reach where she had reached. She believes that when your main goal is to help others, then you make money in the process.

Dwan is more firm on helping other people whose situation is helpless to get a new start. Foreclosure is stressful and anyone going through this will experience lots of stress. Any individual has all the power to be successful. Dwan was more determined because she never wanted to be broke again. She had an intense drive and that is why she became successful. She has listen to speakers saying their system is the only path to riches. She believes that teachers should be the guide to your success and anyone will create his or her path to riches.

She is currently handling short sales, wholesaling, rehabbing, financing foreclosures and distressed properties, marketing and buying. This business is mainly controlled by men, but Dwan has learned ways of creating win-win situations when she is buying a property and all these are through her experience. There are so many people asking her, “How can I learn this business?” there is a complete training series which she has developed and there is also a “boot camp” for five days.
